Careful with those claws... I was only wondering, I'm not in that game now. The odd solid colour full wrap, that's it.

Yeah its a hatch with holes in.

Used kpmf to matt clear the front end of a GTR. Was ok, certainly stuck better than the paint underneath. Not top of my list to do again though.

Ever used APA wrap? Any thoughts? I've been wanting to use Avery supreme but can't find a swatch anywhere. Getting decent reviews from people I know using it.

Meirion I've told you it needs a minimum of 13m, 1520 wide. You will cock it up so buy more.

Thanks for the swatch photo - it must be out of date as I bought something thats not on there about 2 months ago!!

Worth getting swatches from Hexis and APA as they have huge ranges, especially APA.

They do some very interesting colours - this is a Matt Metallic Pearl:

And this is APA again, matt silver metallic. I wouldn't use this unless they've made it more user friendly - its an arse... Not predictable at all! Much more stable than the pearl though, strange stuff sometimes!

Both of these cars had a huge amount of work put in. The brief was to make it as paint-like as possible. Door shuts, boot shuts done etc. Both had around 45 hours put in by me (work on my own!) each. Most people didn't realise they were wrapped when they've been on stands, the GTR is now blue again and I think the M3 will be unwrapped now its had its magazine feature.

I've not done that many full wraps tbh, maybe 14 now. Most of my work was on temporary retail units for football events, local vans and quite a lot for Woburn Safari Park. There is money in it, but so many people are happy to undercut you with crap vinyl, crap designs (or steal yours) and can't fecking measure that its a struggle. It is around here anyway - all money based and very little appreciation of decent work that will alst a long time. Family reasons finally made me stop, but I still solid colour wrap now and then. Mostly for the company I now work for - Litchfields.

Good luck
