I all ways get one on release date! Everytime they changed the ps3 I changed to the slim and then super slim. Sold my super slim to me mate a little while ago in preperation for when the 4 comes out. That's dedication/a little extreme! I'm still rocking an original fatty 60gb PS3, albeit with a 200gb drive now. Bought it from someone here years ago and it sat gathering dust for around 18 months when the blu-ray drive packed in. I've kept my original fatty PS2 and PS1 as well. Sony are definitely the only people taking a step in the right direction with this next console generation. I've always thought that the pay-to-play-online thing Microsoft have always had with the 360 was a horrible idea but people seemed happy with that. I can see what they're trying to achieve with the forever online cloud/streaming gaming thing, but how often do you go round to a mates house with your own games and play on their machine? Chances are they'll either already have the same games, or they'll just come to yours to play. The limitations on disc-based games are a complete joke. New games are priced accordingly so that the developer and publisher make their money form the original sale. Ford don't make any money from owners of 3 year old Fiestas who sell their cars privately, nor do the builders who built your house when you move, why should games developers be different? I had a 60gb original with a yellow light of death repair and 320gb hard drive as I loved the gloss black and chrome finishbut it just started dying so cashed it in at cash converters lol before it packed in all together.Im just a tech buff and cant help myself but get the latest tech! Ive not played the 3 for donkeys but looking forward to have an excuse to chill for once doing something relaxing lol ________________________________________ V6 Power!Faster I can go the better!
