Guys

Another weekend, another spanner check on the now fully operational China.

Was doing some fumbling around today, trying to remember something stan told me about the reason why engine might be a bit stall prone and after disconnecting the light grey connector pictured, realised there was another one attached to the same loom!

Any ideas where it should go, is it even used?

Also found a totally loose bolt in the gear casing underneath!

And also tried to change the air filter, what a mission that is! I know let's put it behind the rear silencer perhaps, or I know on the windscreen! Very odd

Never mind, off to buy some much needed tools tomorrow!

Yep, as stated it's a spare on the loom, so don't worry.

Did you manage to clean the ICV Rob? Dunno

Managed to get it all done

As you said the sensor was black, not totally but the stem and the coned area, ad the whole inside was really sooty, so gave it a good clean and bizarrely car felt better after.

Idled a bit better when cold too.

Also managed to chage the air filter, no mean feat it seems!

A jack, brace and some some spanners helped

You can't go wrong with the halfords 150 piece set to get you started on the way to DIY tinkering.

I told you it would run and idle better after a clean, they do get sooted up from time to time and then perform poorly. Yes
