The bushes are brass in the bottom, not nylon. Thumbs up

So in reflection should I grease my ball or change my brass have same issue also gear linkage rod sounds clunky any idea suggestions on which parts to change repair grease etc 😆

So to cap i have short shift linkages these rattle far to much the rattle sounds like it came from the gear stick but was the cup n nuckles so greased them got a small syringe and injected the cup n knuckle that sorted one rattle the other rattle was the brass bushes at the base replaced these with new bolt also second rattle fixed still had a faint rattle very quiet it was but still annoying so i pulled out the stick took the rubber covers off and used white lithium grease on the pivot nylon ball now its lovely no rattles niggles or other
So in the end i needed to grease my ball change the bush and lube my links and now shes a hole new land feels younger and fresher Smile

Going to try some silicone on the knuckles if the grease fall out to quick just a little then press the cup on see if that holds
