Try Citroen Xsara VTS bars.

Standard are 20mm bars. Xsara vts bars are 21mm. Do you not have an up rated anti roll bar? Keep an eye out for a hybrid rear bar they make more difference than 21mm bars IMO. I've had both.
Mthere have also been group buys for 22 23 and 24mm bars I believe.

If running coilovers with spring rate over 195lbs, I would recommend 22mm upwards for torsion bars.

Give us more info, so we can give more definitive answers.

what are the spring rate on the gaz?
is the car a daily driver or track car?

if you search, you will see that majority of people use b6 bilsteins and eibachs with 21mm torsion bars as a daily driver fast road/track set up

Yup. As Andy knows that was my setup, 21mm bars B6 shocks solid mounts and hybrid ARB. But now I've stripped the car 21mm felt a bit bouncy to me so went for standard 20mm bars on my shiny new axle he built me. Though I think my b6's are getting somewhat tired now.

have not uprated anti rollbar yet but plan to do so. do you think a 23mm torsion bar would be to stiff for road use?

what size is the standard anti rollbar for the 306?

Personally I'd say so I find a stiff rear end jumps out over bumps round corners very easily but I know people who run 23's.

Depends on the weight in the rear and what you intend to do with it.
Mine has f-all weight in the back so I run standard bars. Might go bigger at some point, but like it as it is tbh.

I used to run 22.5mms and i found it too hard for these roads. It used to be very sketchy if cornering on a rough surface even at normal speeds.

Well since you only wanted them a little harder then VTS ones will do the job, although you could get some b6 bilsteil rear shocks with standard bars as mine ie 205 is quite firm now.
