What will I need, aside from pump itself, any special tools and is it relatively straight forward?
Thanks

Allen keys for the mount bolts and a screw driver for the pipe clips. That's all I think, obviously ull need to bleed it up with new fluid after. ________________________________________ 98 onyx black 306 Rallye53 Nissan Primastar silver (work horse) 58 black Volvo c30 sport |

I'm sure when I asked about mine someone suggested getting a ratchet spanner as access to some of the bolts is limited. Bought the spanner, still haven't fitted the new pump over a year later so can't comment Also, replace the belt while you're there, just because. ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

You will need allen key bits to use with a ratchet, as they are pretty tight and you have to undo them through holes in the pump pulley ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

Pretty sure the clips are the single use type unless you have the special pliers. (which I do )________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. You can reuse the clips with some pliers and strong hands.Clamp the hoses to prevent making a mess. Either a proper hose clamp or vise grips and a rag will do it. A bolt to bung in the hose end isn't a bad idea. Subframe bolts are ideal if handy or a drinks bottle from your recycling bin. ________________________________________ |

Oh I know, but it tends to deform them a bit so they often don't clamp up as tight the second time around. ________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies.
