My gti 6 doesn't seem to handle right, drivers side seems to feel like its going to loose grip all the time and feels floaty if that makes sense any ideas? Haven't had a chance to investigate yet though

Jack up the front and grab the wheel and try and move it. If it moves excessively then it's your P bushes

Pretty much everything, Bush's, Dampers, Tyres all add up and with the age of 306's now all need replacing

I'm in the middle of refreshing all of the above and they all looked worse for wear, rubber had splits and I had exactly the same feeling through the wheel. Even had a knocking from the wishbone as the P-bush had totally come away from the rubber and was banging on the outer casing of the bushThumbs down

Yeah going to have a look not this weekend but hopefully the next, how do I check rear beam mounts? And how hard is it to fit p bushes if it is them which is causing the problem? On my old 206 I had to replace the hole wishbone when the bushes were nakerd
