8000 rpm That does seem excessive would of thought 7600rpm would be max you would see the needle go to. ________________________________________ Super high boost Completed, destroyer of gearboxes and 160mph club |

I think the limiter on mine is 7800. I took it there once on the way back from mapping to see if it sounded like the world was about to end. I do like making the pretty shift light illuminate. Very sensual mood lighting that.________________________________________ |

it is, especially for the standard hydraulic tappets, dunno where the low boost makes peak but a standard engine its at 6500, so there's absolutely no point whatsoever taking it to 7800, as there's sod all torque up there and no power for sure.shift at peak back onto torque, BOOM, job jobbed. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I'd say about 6800-7000 on average, every 6 I've ever driven has felt slightly different to be honest though so it varies car to car.________________________________________ Ryan |

You'd be better off getting into the next gear and powerband. ________________________________________ |
