What do you do? Oven the lights apart, remove the various bits, spray them black and stick them back on?Looks well done, How long do you think they took to do? ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |

Just remove adjuster motor and bulbs, leave the wiring plug etcSome say dont pre heat oven but i find it better when its at temp i do it at 80oc mine was fan assisted but 15-20 min and you want the light barely touchable by hand and if you feel the plastic you will feel it starts to get soft this is where ya want to take it out and get started. I go round with a Stanley blade lightly oiled then pop back in to warm back up remove and get a screwdriver ad prise under the lens nearest the grill at the top and start to prise out. sometimes it can be challenging but sometimes the lens comes out pretty easy and ive only done valeo ones. rub chrome off, i use green and red scotch pads and then spray black etc never touch after use tabs to handle on the bottom, top, let the reflectors fully dry, put back in, seal and leave sealant to go off with a bit of duck tape to keep it on tight until dry. time can vary took me a couple of hours inc oven times to remove lenses, then you have to remove old sealant which is the most time consuming part. i did have a problem with the other reflector, with the chrome removed after spraying the plastic had signs of cracks so i got a spare headlight cheap to use for spares. Done Ive got 2 spare sets on there way as i want to do mine and then i will do a set to sell (exchange if required as easier) I hope im not stepping on anyones toes if i do start doing a few for members. ________________________________________ V6 Power!Faster I can go the better! Make sure all the chrome is removed, you can use sand paper but fine wet and dry, just enough to lightly key surface not scratch. The sprayer at work was gonna water base paint them for me but he recommended just to be safe a paint which has anti flake, anti knock and a good temp resistance to it so hopefully they should stand the test of time! ________________________________________ V6 Power!Faster I can go the better! You'll need to throw money at the car. Not on parts. Just stand near your car and throw loose change at it, I find this increases performance for a short period of time |

I found a heat gun did the trick on mine, wave it along to slowly heat it and then ease apart, both stripped within 15 minutes________________________________________ "winners come and go but legends never die..." autorite-sport.co.uk |

I've done a couple o sets of valeos in my oven and some come apart without to much hassle others you have to keep them so hot the plastic is literally about to melt before the glue gives in. Managed to f**k one light it was so solid. Depos are easy .________________________________________ Black power baby!
