Measure the hole diameter. If its pulled apart due to the crack.try the ball joint. ________________________________________ 98 onyx black 306 Rallye53 Nissan Primastar silver (work horse) 58 black Volvo c30 sport |

the ball joint has had it, replacing the wish bone. You think this might be why it failed?________________________________________ 205 Van SC'd GTI6 - because why not309 Goodwood V6 - sold 205 Rallye GTI6 - Bent |

Well if your replacing the whole thing then it doesn't matter as you can get the ball joint to suit the hub, only thing is you may have two different sizes on the car________________________________________ 205 GTi Red - G939 RTU - Died!306 GTi 6 Diablo - Being resurrected! other than crash damaged cars ive seen this twice, some people use a hammer and chisel to open up the gap to help remove ball joint, hence weakening the casting, all it would take is a decent pot hole to do the above |

Jamie, you cannot change the ball joints on 309's or 205's.Dendle, I was going around a bumpy corner. Seems the pinch bolt could have been too tight meaning it was under stress. Or as Fordy mention the ball joint was knackered so this may have contributed. ________________________________________ 205 Van SC'd GTI6 - because why not309 Goodwood V6 - sold 205 Rallye GTI6 - Bent |
