I'm thinking of starting the engine on my 6 this weekend, just to get the brakes bled and also the cooling system checked for leaks but I've got no drive shafts in at the moment and wondering if I should do this? There is oil in there as I only pulled the shafts rather than drained it so wondering if it is advised to start the engine or not, otherwise I'll have to wait for Rich_W to get some rollers for me to build up the front end.

That's what I wanted to hear. I'm draining it once I've put the new shafts in, just want to get the box warm so that it all drains out before putting new in. Cheers Mate

No, I don't want to throw oil everywhere! It's just to get the air out of the cooling and check that the brakes are bled
