Tired ones can go for less than 2k but fully serviced with timing belt changed etc and in good condition are around 3.5k. Lot of car for your money and will probably steadily appreciate now.

On the 5th Gear pininfarina item (the one which included the GTI-6 bit), VBH said that decent GTVs will appreciate and are possible future classics.

No No it's Rosso Red. The grey one looks nice but can't see the mileage or cambelt change listed.
