I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with the electric fans on the road car. From what I've read there's a brown connector I need to unplug to force the fans to come on. I think I found it and unplugged it but nothing happened so and on the track car the plug doesn't seem to exist?

Any ideas?

Is the track car a rallye? If so I don't think rallyes come with that sensor, pretty sure they have a slightly different fan setup.

Yes the brown connector on the daily should make the fans go on slow for a few seconds then on to high speed.
If it doesn't then I'd try looking to see if the fans are getting any electric, checking the relays which are in like a triangular box at the top of the fan cowling. Bumper off job. Smile

Ahhhhh, that makes sense. Both are Rallyes but the road car had a 6 engine put in it after the original died.

Will run some more tests on the road car later.

Unplugging that should have the same effect on the fans?

no, you'll need to check if the middle terminal has 12v+, and if it does then bridge it to either of the outer pins, one will make the fan come on half speed the other full speed.
