I'm ordering a fibreglass bonnet from Fordygti on here, but wondering what colour to go for when it arrives. Do I go for diablo or change it up a bit and spray it black? The wheels are black, the cage will be black aswell.

If you have black masks think it would look ok black. Personally I'd vinyl wrap it. It's easier

Well I was thinking black masks, I'm sure I saw someone's 6 on here with a black bonnet but I'm sure that was cherry red, just wondering whether it would look tidy. Vinyl rap, how does that fair up with regards to stonechip ect?

That does look nice, that must have been the one that I saw. The only thing is that is cherry and mine is a diablo so not sure if it is going to be the same. Should be though shouldn't it?

What I have been thinking now though, is going for black roof and boot, the paint is looking rough on the roof and don't want to paint the whole car!

It's a big old risk though, I think I'll paint the bonnet with black primer to see what it looks like then go from there. What could possibly go wrong?

Careful on the primer type you use, some won't work with wrap.
Wrap is as good as paint for stone chips, well it sort of depends on the wrap and what its on.

I would offer to wrap it for you as its what I do.
