Buy loads of shiny new bits for it and don't fit them seems to be the way on this forum. It's what I've been doing for some time now and it's working out really well for me Smile

Entirely depends on the car tbh. Is it standard at the moment?

I've had a rebuilt and lowered beam with B6 shocks and solid rear beam mounts (Built by Jordz294 from the forum) totally stripped and repainted (currently doing that) the whole underside, also removing the skirts to have a small piece of rust cut out and welded. Stripped the interior but I'm going to be putting something back in, maybe just sound deadening carpet to keep the noise down a bit, polycarb rear windows, bucket seats and harnesses which I am yet to collect, 16" track alloys and some 406 brembos

Going to be bought

B8's with Eibach's going on the front, upper and lower OMP strut brace, roller wishbone bearings with all new Powerflex black bushes on the rest of the front suspension.

Got a spare engine that maybe going to Lynx at some point for some fettling, going to see how large my tax rebate is next month now!

I've also put my name down for a fibreglass bonnet since I needed a replacement and mine is wrecked. Trying to go for a lightweight track car that I can still use on the road now and again, not as my main car

Nothing about owning a 306 is cheap. You get sucked into buying more and more. I was only going to change the rear beam mounts, front and rear shocks originally, it's just snowballed from there. The Parts for Sale section on here just has too much good stuff coming up all the time.

LOL
Go buy yourself a Evo/Cosworth/Subaru and mod that for more power/track work then you will change your opinion on the price of modding a 306!

^^ This! Even some comparable hatchbacks are a lot more expensive on parts than Peugeots. Try Nissans or VWs.

My mate was looking at getting a Civic Type R to put on the track and nearly shat himself when he found that one drive shaft comes in at 200 quid. He bought a VTS instead then!
