Just trying to imagine if it'd make a difference with an intercooler, but don't forget that changing something's colour can drastically change its heat transfer properties, and a layer of paint is probably enough to reduce airflow and turbulence noticeably, depending on how you painted it.________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

Paint's an insulator, more coats you put on the less thermally efficient the IC will be, quick dust with etch primer and a coat of satin black from a rattle can is all you want to be putting on there. I'd be looking to see if it could be anodized black myself. Corrosion resistance and no insulating layer. Win win.________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. anodising is an insulating layer ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Half cages right up to complete custom spaceframes - MSA/FIA spec, CDS, ROPT, T45, etc - PM meEmail me! Thx owain,could you please do this pic and do it black with also the IC piping black pleaseIm not sure about doing it, the ic piping will be wrinkle painted complete, when im doing the ic , it will be just a quick spray of flat black and call it quits. |

Hmmmm not to fond of it, with seeing this i really like the "toughness" with the huge ass silver IC in sight... so only thing ill be changing to black is the piping.Thankyou Owain for your time! |

What's story with your bonnet badge?
