Its for a 98 Phase 2 so the IR one please, I dont care about the casing of any of that i just want one that works and holds the charge on the batteries thanks!

I've bought about 2/3 off ebay,every one i've bought the batteries just run out after about a week..if that! So im after a key fob that will last longer than a week please Its for a 98 Phase 2 so the IR one please, I dont care about the casing of any of that i just want one that works and holds the charge on the batteries thanks! |

1. replace the battery?????2. do you not need to code the fob to work on YOUR car. If not, does any 306 fob open any 306 car???? 3. even with new batteries the IR has only about a 1 meter range at best. |

I can't remember the specific fault, but on the P2 fob there is a short that appears in the circuit which will cause the battery to drain itself after about a week.
