just got new centre section replaced today at an exhaust fitters with new clamps they charged £232 to supply and fit and its making a subtle rattling noise so havin to go back in the morning. gona ask to see the centre section they took off it because im curious if it needed to be replaced not sure if price was a bit steep ? any advice would be great

Unless you're going for an all out concourse overhall, you're crazy buying a new centre section. Where is the rattling coming from? Have you checked the basics? ie: making sure they actually tightened all the clamps?

my exhaused was damaged thats why it needed replaced but im wondering if it could have been welded

aye well it needed repaired it was 137.55 for the centre section and then 2 hrs labour at 42.00 what would u have charged ??? and if my car had the suspension put back up it wouldnt have hit the stupid speed bump .ie. when is my pug gona get looked a????

now there sayin it should only have been an hrs labour and might get money back for part as well

spoke to you the other day to let you know what was happening, welshpug is right, 2 hours to do a 20 minute job is a p**s take.

your car is far low to go onto 2 post ramp-massive risk of damaging sideskirts. will have to be done on the floor

in the mean time, learn to judge speed bumps etcThumbs up get you sorted soon
