Hey guys, just bought a pair of bucket seats and didnt notice until i got home that one of the mounting holes on the side for side mounts is damaged.The hole is prob 3 times the size it should be, is it safe to repair with some resin or would it not be recommended? ________________________________________ 205 mi16405 Mi16x4 restoration project 406 v6 saloon track car project/daily driver 508 Hdi |

No mate the captive nut bit is missing, its missing on the other 3 holes too! stupidly only checked 1 of the seats when i picked them up and that one is fine with all 4 captive nuts still in place. Did you buy them new or second hand?________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. I sell new and used welding equipment in the Hampshire area. I take on welding jobs in the evenings, ally casting repairs are one of my specialities but I can weld pretty much anything. Sounds like the seats been in a crash and ripped out the fixings, time to start an ebay dispute my friend.________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. I sell new and used welding equipment in the Hampshire area. I take on welding jobs in the evenings, ally casting repairs are one of my specialities but I can weld pretty much anything.
