CAR NOW SOLD!

I've decided to sell my T5 as I'm just not using it at all. It's getting used for the odd drive into town at the weekends and I've never been one for owning something I don't use. I only got this in August of last year and have done 7k miles in it but that included a 4k mile trip to into Europe.

As stated its a 2005 V50 SE sport model and ill list the features on it below:

2.5 turbo
Full black leather
Winter pack (heated seats)
High performance sound system
Full electrics with a computer that's way above my little head
Full service history
4 mths tax and 6mths MOT
Xenon headlights
Geartronic gearbox (semi auto)
Load cover and dog guard
Genuine Volvo sun blinds in back and cargo area windows (looks tinted)

The car is mechanically very good, the engine pulls very well and has 220bhp as standard (no remaps on this). There are no knocks, clunks or bangs from it and the gearbox is nice and smooth. Fuel consumption is showing at 29mpg which is pretty good considering its driven mostly in town and A roads, it was on 38mpg on my trip into Europe last year. I am always careful to let it warm up before using the turbo and always let it settle before switching off.

There is a thread I started just before Xmas about its most recent service which included a full service, all belts changed and many new parts (all genuine Volvo) and it cost me £1600. All four tyres have plenty of tread on them.

Bad bits:

There is a rip in the driver seat bolster unfortunately and one of its 2 horns (yes it has two) isn't working so sounds a bit croaky. A couple of the wheels have some scratches on them but no blistering or rust or anything like that. Apart from that its a good running car. I'll add more pics at the weekend when it's had a good clean.

Price is £3750

Hi Ian,

Have you got any pictures of the seat bolster and how easy would it be to take off the towbar and does it leave a cut-out in bumper?

Cheers Matt

Hi Matt, I'll get you a picture later. The tow bar doesn't leave any holes in the bumper and I don't know if it's removable or not. I'll PM you this evening.
