Managed to melt a coilpack yesterday, like this:

So need at least one pack with some wiring but also concerned about the others TBH, are the coilpack wires plugged into the loom or do they just "appear"? Dunno

No worries mate, I reckon the pack itself failed and if its only two wires I should be OK - hopefully I can get a replacement with a plug already on it and I should be fine.

Cheers for the offer though, will let you know if I fail.

I'd be inclined to change the entire loom if I were you ? Bit of job and need to remove inlet to get at the whole engine loom but I'd want a complete loom othe coils not repaired as could cause future problems.

Up to you though but for the sake of £40 for a loom and a free couple of coils that I could do for you I know what I would do Yes
