ive no idea really at the moment, the 205 is obviously a lighter car so dont want to go 'too' hardcore on the rear

what would your suggestions be? bearing in mind this will be 95% road car

hubs fit but dont use them as they will give positive camber.

brakes I would stick to stock tbh, a good pad if you must, anything bigger is just added weight.

I'd only use the rack if its a xsara one.

ok welshpug cheers, anything else worth keeping off 306?

i will definately be fitting 283's as it will at least be getting a gti6 engine, got a nice 52k lump from a

2002 vts. ultimately it will be turbo'd

    ...so, what about the KW's??

no, just stick to 1.9 hubs.

my mate DCC runs standard s16 266's on a throttle bodied gti6 lump, more than ample and about 2 kilos lighter than 283's, PER SIDE.

    I am sticking to stock 247's and 1144's, cammed 1.9 8v.

my thinking behind 306 hubs was if i ever needed a spare one then they are very plentiful whereas

i might struggle to find an original in a hurry

fair point on the 266's, i have upgraded a couple of my previous cars to 283's and yea ok, they were

a little bit better but in all honesty 266's would have done me fine for what i required

Wpug - thought you were building a shed X? how many cars/projects have you actually got?!

come to think of it, 6 hubs are useless anyway, dont think any 205's have 18mm ball joints do they?

i love the 405! my first car was an '89 405 Mi16, then bought a MiX4 which very quickly munched its

hard as cheese transfer box then got a '93 2.0 Mi that was s**te compared to my 1.9, had brief

ownership of an STDT, had MI kit and interior, since then a string of 306's including a 205 1.6 with

mi, and a mint 1.9 graphite that a very stupidly sold

would love another white ph1 405 though
