I had a decat fitted to stock exhaust on your old diablo. It went bloody well! sounded lovely and raspy, but not boomy which was brilliant. Personally if you aren't into non-stock levels of exhaust noise, but want a more sporty tone when giving it the beans, I'd definitely recommend. Not 100% sure on the fit of magnex decats mind, but I'm pretty sure they go straight on!

^^ Yeah thinking about it, it's my Peugeotsport 2-1 decat pipe that was a sleeved fit, the Magnex decat pipe I have on now is a flanged fit exactly the same as a stock downpipe! Should know that really!! Doh

There is no police round here lol, I had a full magnex and decat before on one of mine but was far too loud.

Ed how's it going? Dint sound tinny did it?

What's recommendations on exhaust setup have looked at previous posts, but think my cat started to rattle today so something needs doing there whatever happens but centre section and backbox fairly new

There are Police everywhere, just because you don't see them doesn't mean they're not there! LOL

You'll also lose a noticeable amount of mid range torque. Thumbs up

Get a universal 200 cell sports cat welded into your downpipe if its in good conditionYes

Got one on mine, passes MOT emissions test and I have found its the best option on my Rallye for sureThumbs up

Its a nice compromise between de-cat and standard cat,car revs out much easier than it does with standard cat fitted, but also feels more punchy mid-range than it did with a de-cat fittedYes

With de-cat fitted mine did 180bhp on a rolling road, with 200 cell sports cat fitted it did 177bhp.

A decat knocks loads of mid range torque off. I had a decat, lasted 2months and put the cat back on. Dont sound as good but goes better. Smile
