Still, at least there's no reserve. As long as he actually lets it go for what the auction ends on, could end up a bargain for someone.

You lot are terrible, so he lists part of the title as mi16 no doubt to gain more searches. So what if he puts every word with a capital, seems a good well looked after car, i have seen far worse adds than this tbh.

Good luck to him.

What is it with forums picking every negative thing about someone, surely people have better things to do.

Not a Mi16 though.
Unless hes put a gti6 head and inlet on it.
And performed the worlds most pointless engine transplant.

To be fair it is an easy mistake for someone who doesn't know much about these cars to make.

As said above, I've seen much worse ads.

there's alloy 1905cc 83x88 mi16's and iron 1998 cc 86x86 mi16's, aka the S16 engine, same crank and block as a gti6 but that's where the similarities end.

Yeh i only skim read through the add, however the mi16 did come in the iron block version 2.0 ltr ie S16.

Either way, if he doesnt know about them then we cant really blame him for it, as said car looks a good un, its when adds are obviously trying to make somethibg much better then it actually is, is when i see them bad, not everyone can write well, add looks like some effort put in compared to a few iv seen.

I knew the s16 was cast iron because some knob head sent me one instead of a GTi6 block Doh
because "it had a 6 speed box on it so it had to be a gti6 engine" Angry

i thought that the mi16 meant it had an alloy block did it not?
this topic has probably been covered many a time,... but those threads will have been archived now! along with all the other useful information! Whistle
