Hi all!

First registered in '06 and had a Ph1 XSi until a couple of weeks ago. Finally bought a 6 after wanting one for ages, and within a week ended up with two! Long story short, put the decent engine from the rubbish shell into the decent shell with the knackered engine. Got it running at the weekend and loving it.

Anyway, just thought I'd say hi after finally upgrading membership.

Will

You sir either live for the 6 or have a mental retardation to still be repairing this!

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fecking temperamental.

Bought this one for £350, its got 110k on the clock but the engine I put in has done just less than 100k. Replaced the clutch, timing belt, water pump, crankshaft seal and drive shaft seals when I was doing the changeover. Pretty pleased with hows it's running now.

The engine I'm using was out of a Diablo 6 which I paid £380 for. Sold bits off (and scrapped) my XSi which more than covered one of the cars, hoping to cover most of the cost of the other by breaking the Diablo 6 and scrapping it too.

The trouble with this forum is, I can see myself spending a lot of money if I'm not careful!

You'll need to throw money at the car. Not on parts. Just stand near your car and throw loose change at it, I find this increases performance for a short period of time
