Incorrect! they are only ever so slightly heavier than a 6' engine.

Okay, I stand corrected. I thought it was a much heavier, cast iron block.
Sorry!

It is heavier, maybe 25 kg overall. And obviously its further forward. Moving the battery to the boot would do a lot to sort that. Main thing with these is the torque - 150 lbft from 1500rpm and sits at 190+ from 2.5k to 6.5k rpm. 3rd gear will do you for everything basically, 0-100 ![]() ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

adam b wrote: Quite fancy one in a 405. Someone slap me... I’ll slap you mate. Chicken Nik wants to V6 a 405 someday, he needs to pull his finger out and find a 405 first. Preferably not an MI16 because he doesn’t want to wreck a rare motor so ideally a P2 Executive or GTX. OP, I’ve been in both a 205 and 306 V6 and both great fun. The 205 was just hilarious straight line speed. Do it. ________________________________________ P1 306 GTI6 X2P2 306 GTI6 P3 306 GTI6 205 GTI 1.9 Peugeot Sport Club UK Gloucestershire Group Leader |
