Hi everyone,

I've been posting here a bit over the past several days, so I thought I should probably introduce myself!

I've been lurking the forum for 4-5 months, and got my first '6, a diablo Ph.2 in October. At some point I'm likely to make a project thread, both for fun and for people's advice and input.

Not much else to say really! Nice to meet you all!

My current daily driver, taken today:

My Ph.2 shortly after I got it, and I'd given it a wash:

My Ph.2 is in bits and will be put back together over the next month or so, and I got the Ph.1 less than a week ago to drive in the meantime, and then I'm likely to sell it again. Thumbs up

It would certainly seem so! When I bought the Ph.1 I wanted something different to my Ph.2 to drive around and that was the only Ph.1 about at the time.

When I bought the Ph.2, which was my first '6, there seemed to only be silver or chavved ones around at the time, and then that one came up for sale, which considering its price, condition, and it not being silver I simply couldn't not buy it! It had been garaged and only driven for 100ish miles per year in the summer for the last three years when I got it!

It seems like whenever I look for a '6 the only decent one is in Diablo red. LOL

Hi Wave
I like Diablo but not so much to have two, I don't think. I'd like to have a '6 and a Rallye in an ideal world but I can't really afford one let alone two at the moment LOL

My second '6 (the Ph.1) I'm only keeping temporarily while my Ph.2 is off the road. It'll be for sale some time in the next month and a halfish I think. Not until I've bled the brakes and cleaned it up a bit though.

As for the colour, like I said, it just seems that the only decent sixes available are Diablo when I look for one! Must be fate... Thumbs up

Which? The bigger, vented one on the Ph.2 I assume?
I've long been confused as to whether or not some of the bits on my Ph.2 are actually Ph.2 parts, such as that spoiler, the gearknob and the dials, and the fact that it doesn't have a splitter. It's also got no badges identifying it as a '6/Gti either.

It did also have crystal headlights but I put those on. LOL

The Ph.2 was treating my very well until some idiot woman looking at her sat nav drove head-on into it!

Thanks for the welcomes everyone!

+1 not keen on those aftermarket spoilers myself but not the worst...

I usualy find China Blue or Astor Grey Examples to be the 'better buys' but I am always looking at them I really need to stop myself, it's a complete waste of my time LOL
