Yep, driveshaft seals. Yes

3121 44 and 3121 46 are the two part numbers from Peugeot which you will require. Yes

Peugeot FTW. They aren't that expensive really. Not if they outlast a s**te pair and save another f**k about getting the car in the air and changing them.

Buy your oil from Pug too. Cheap enough and I always think the boxes feel smoother with it in that crap stuff.

You can, but I prefer to buy from Pug, that way you know you're getting the genuine article. Yes

Yeah because pug only do 75w 90 gear box oil right ?

You bunch of mugs this is the same argument as per water pumps ? I use none genuine pumps as they get changed way before they break and never had a problem.same with shaft seals never had a problem with the ones off flea bay. But hey it's your money

What would I know only been here 5 mins Razz

IMO on a job which takes longer than 5 minutes I'd prefer the piece of mind spending a bit more on Peugeot parts.

Do it once, do it right.

Those you suggest may not leak, but if they did after a few months I'd be wishing is spent an extra fiver or what ever they are extra for ones from Peugeot.

In fact I'm going to dig an invoice out LOL

I've always got my shaft seals from Andrew Page and they are about £7 for the pair, and they are Febi Bilstein ones with the oem part numbers on

You can get the box oil elsewhere too, no idea why you'd pay double or so just for the sake of it?!

I'm with Rikky, there'll be no problem at all with the non-Poogeot-arse-rape parts. Granted, I'd get them somewhere other than Ebay, unless they specify the manufacturer.

I put some g box oil around where shaft fits kn to help with the seal.

You need 2 litres worth btw.

I already bought g box oil when i read pug stuff is best so ill let it run in as engine been stored 3 years then refill with pug stuff.

Anyone know where to get a magnet type plug for the gbox at all?

I know you can get the seals cheaper elsewhere, factors and the like. However, for the amount of times you are likely to do the job (not very often in my case) I'd just rather have genuine parts which I know are going to last.
