so as the title says really here is my 3rd GTI 6 ill give you a quick run down of the past

1st GTI 6 175bhp

sadly ended on its roof after sliding off the road and into some wooden bollards

closely replaced 2 months later with this one which then got sold about 2 years later and the new owner took it to Bulgaria to put the engine into a 106 gti

and about a another 2 1/2 years later after running around in a 200+bhp mk4 golf i have got myself this

the car was picked up from blue cycle as a stolen recovered so there is a little damage to the drivers door and no service history so plans are to take the engine out give it a complete overhaul and also add a few extra bits.
the car came with a complete cat back scorpion exhaust.

so within a week of owning the car this happened

these were added

and this

the wheels got a nice refurb in BMW Stahlgrau (E46 m3 CSL colour i think)

as it stands now

so I've since added my Alpine CDA-105Ri head unit
I will be adding my Kenwood sub and amp setup and also ive just ordered a set of Focal 165A1 components.
I've ordered a set of 6k HIDs
I will be ordering a set of solid metal drop links as they could do with being replaced
I'm looking to get hold of a set of Xsara vts ph1 front springs

for the time being I'm currently refurbing a second set of front calipers i got from a friend

so here is how they started out

got these to add once finished

here is how they are now

here is a final little photo of the car i put together

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Yer the accident was the result of a 19 year old having to much power for his limited driving exsperiance ill admit that.

Plans for this are finish off the brakes asap and get them fitted
I have an upper strut brace left over from the other cars however its power coated in sky blue so need to get the powder coat off and paint it the same colour as the wheels
Then xsara vts ph1 springs and a little lower at the rear
Plan to track it at some point at brands and goodwood and will hopefully be making a trip out to the ring

Anyway these turned up today so will be fitting them asap as the standard ones are ummm crap

Best keep this updated so a few things have happened over the last few weeks.

Firstly took a trip over to Portsmouth to see Ollie (pugheaven) to collect a full interior as mine had seen a lot better days here is a quick photo of the new front seats fitted

Still got to sort out the air bag fault as the new seats are ph2.5 where as the car is ph3 and the wiring seems to be different colors.

This arrived last night a very nice OMP gunmetal grey upper strut brace so got the fitted asap

Nice motor, coming along fast with some nice touches. Don't like the wheels myself though, should've just gone for Silver. Smile

I Collected my New Trimmed Gear Knob and Gaiter Today from Joe at Trim Deluxe. We amazingly found that Mclaren make a very very close match to the OEM alcantara so as he had some left over from a job they had him do for their MP4-12c. So here are the results
