All about road bikes and not paying the crazy fuel prices. I can't remember who it was that overtook. But I know I was doing about 30 waiting for people to catch up when all of a sudden 2 306s came flying up past me really close so I s**t myself and swerved, touching the verge and unfortunately you were behind me... ________________________________________ ex white Phase 1 Gti6, killed at cadwell park in November 07 |

Ph 1's are awesome... I had a non aircon/ non sunroof model.... do they weigh any less than a Rallye?? Also remember the redline was 7,500 rpm.... why did Peugeot later lower it? (or have it that high in the first place!) Ended up selling mine to finance a 205 mi16 conversion, new owner ended up hydrolocking engine... she's now sat on blocks outside his house locally, gutted!Couple of pics of my old one.... ________________________________________ Bianca white 306 RallyeArctic blue Clio 182 FF Alpine white 205 1.9 GTI |

That is a lovely cherry ph1, but agree on the bonnet lifts comment. Tidy under there though! Are they silicone hoses or some kind of flexi plastic covers?________________________________________ Bianca white 306 RallyeArctic blue Clio 182 FF Alpine white 205 1.9 GTI |

Literally just had a completely standard phase 1 black gti6 come into work with a starting/ battery fault. I used to see it every day when I worked at Mitsubishi in Tunbridge wells as it was often parked just round the corner. They guy couldn't believe it that I recognised the car etc. a few years back I almost nocked on the door to ask I he would sell it to me. I love a blak phase 1 I've owned 5 phase one 306's. 4 D-Turbos and a Sigma blue S16 with an XU10j4rs conversion on the 5 speed box. The car was minty mc mint never should have sold it :/.________________________________________ Black power baby!
