When I got my 306 the guy never mentioned it being superchipped but when I got it home I found a superchips key thing in the car which I assume is used to store the cars original map.
There was also a (Optimistic I think) power graph in the mountains of bumf that came with the car, I do know it had a de-cat and straight through exhaust fitted.
Anyway, is there any way of telling if the superchip is still fitted? There are no external markings on the ECU but it does feel faster than my other '6 but this could just be down to engine condition etc.

Heres the graph

I would imagine it is still there, as if the previous owner sold it on he would most probably have provided the buyer with the power graph. Yes

This is what it would look like inside if it did have a chip from Superchips in it:

according to Superchips website, they claim 12bhp increase on a standard engine, so that would see

potential for 179 bhp. My question is, how are people with likes of PT81's and remap only seeing about

the same?

Most people that have PT81's and a remap are seeing 190+ to be fair. Yes

Definately, i believe Denis (russian guy) has 195 bhp on tap with PT81's pocketed pistons and a remap, and i have passengered in this a few times on track and can vouch for it being far quicker than standard. Yes

Do you HAVE to run pocketed pistons for 81's?
