So what exactly have you snapped, the bolt that secures handbrake lever mechanism to the car, or the actual adjuster that tightens the cable? If it's the cable adjuster, 10 min job to swap over for one from scrappy, 3 bolts holding complete mechanism to shell once cable is off. If it's one of the bolts that secures the mechanism to the shell you will need to remove the old one, drill or cut out and replace. Not sure if you can get to the underside to just use a bolt, if not you will need to weld a bolt in. ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

Although I would have expected the cables to snap rather than the adjuster nut/bolt if the mechanism in the calipers were seized. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Handbrake cable/s could of been snapped? And you have tightened the adjuster right down the thread and snapped it Just to confirm it is the adjuster you broke, were you tightening it from the rear of centre console, parallel to floor of car? ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |
