I'm interested, as long as it's as good or better than this, I may also get some more flocking done,f**k black masks, hello flocked masks, f**k tinted Windows I'm getting flocked Windows, Say no to exhaust heat wrap and yes to flocked manifold. Takedown get your turbo heat shield flocked, would look great. My next engine rebuild instead of having the crank reground and the cylinders honed, head skimmed e.g. I'm getting my crank, cylinders and head flocked. Can you tell I love them pics of the flocking, really does look ace ________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

So wont be driving on the Challengers, ive had a look and they totally dont fit to the whole racing/trackday/stripped out theme of the car.. they rather look out of place..As much as i love the Challengers, i wont be sporting them.... Im sticking to the 1.2s... the more i see them the more i get to like them... |

Well this weekend were going to do some work on the car again, weathers been s**t, and no longer a excuse to do nothing.Since i still have a pair of Cayenne/Gallardo Brembo 6 pots laying around, the 17Z versions (that fit 17" wheels) And i had a look at my friends @ VVT their timeattack car, a 300+ BHP diesel Ibiza on 17" Prorace 1.2 with the same insane huge calipers, i want that too, so im getting them fitted to the 306 The 17Z calipers are made for 325-345 brakediscs, since im using 330er from a 407 V6 i can use the calipers to their fullest. Heres a pic of how big they are ( this is with a 332mm disc) first 306 with Lamborghini 6 pots in the world i think |

have you tried your wheels yet? you may find that the lower offset pug wheels wont actually fit even though the offset corrected ones do, due to the shape of the spokes and hub sections.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Well we did some trial fitting and sorting out the fuellines, and trying to figure the best position to route the compressorhousing of the turbo.Decided to ditch the screamerpipe idea, almost ZERO space, and i think its nicer to hear the engine/turbo and exhaust then the screamerpipe when on boost (+ it saves a lot of work!!) So were rerouting it in the downpipe. Monday were sorting out the gauges and stuff... next week saturday its engine removal, get some small things welded. And then were going to push the pedal and take some big leaps into the project... i want this thing on the road! Also bought a digital EGT gauge with alarm We had a good look at how to route the ic piping, and things are pretty clear now, so when we fit the engine again, we can also sort the piping out. |

Well a beautifull Monday to fiddle around with the French meatball, Marvin joined me and since the temps are on the more christian side now its a lot nicer to do something. Also decided today was a nice day to get some yellow paint , new Lamborghini decals and do some spraying, im in the middle of it, so maybe later on tonight some more pics I forgot how big and light these f**kers are... Comparison, 4 pots are for pussies Some primer Some coats of SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLOW Tonight later on the decal and some clearcoats, if i find the time Frontbumperinside needed some trimming to accomodate the IC, so it can come 1 or 2 cms to the front, so we can squeeze the mocal oilcooler between the ic and rad. some pics of the modified thermostathousing Intercooler brackets 2 x spa fans Cars been standing way to long in the barn now, some strange green mushrooms are growing out of the enginebay Poormans BOV vs Pimpdaddy$$ Marvin started with the mockup of the Ic piping, since the GT3071R is a big turbo we had to turn the housing and see what would be the best way to put it. These things are timeconsuming ... Saturday were removing the engine , mockup some things , get some things welded up and after that its time to fit the engine in its place and start installing things. Deadline is end of may! Tonight later on some more pics of the caliper,( i only had enough paint for one, so other one will be sprayed tomorrow) Cheers! |
