Hi i bought some different needles for my speedo. I took the speedo unit out and replaced the bits I wanted to and when I put it all back the oil gauge now flicks accross and back down twice without giving a reading and both temp guages dont work? Ive double checked and both plugs are in and tight at the back.

A mate was breaking his gti so i borrowed his working clocks plugged them in and the temp guages dont work either. Where does the problem lie? Could it be chance that my sensors on the engine went at the same time I removed my clocks?

Thanks for any help!
