Basically Cambelt shredded itself at 114k Repaired new head etc Then at 118k some severse floods managed to end up in about 3ft of flood. It was a tight corner no warning and boom straight in! Although saved it, nursed it home dried everything and was left with a chronic tapper. Went to 306oc Christmas meet, drive up the road to get the polish to wash my car. Driving back spanked it round a roundabout and boom, shrapnel everywhere covered the car behind and road in oil, pulled to the side of te road. Cracking up, decided f**k it, drove it into a carpark turned round then drove it too the hotel we were staying it. Died at 121k She will be rebuilt soon enough. Have an engine lined up just need to pay for it |

Ouch.... sad to see such damage!! thankfully though it is just the engine that's died - not the actual car!!!________________________________________ Richies Project RallyeElectrical work carried out in Portsmouth jamiek_uk2000 wrote: - Top Tip!!! I knew it was going to happen it was a matter of time. I was even laughing at the time. Yeah running even though it threw one, have a peice of the rod at home, going to clean it up file the sharp bits and make a key ring hahaha. I'm glad it didn't kill anything else. Just went straight through the bottom of the sump and maybe the rad |

haha only just seen the video. Funny thing is, when we was standing at the polish getting our cars washed, i was saying to him "dude just run the car into the ground and see how long that engine lasts". I spank it out of the car wash in true saxo style, park up and then see him walking over the hill after about 10 minutes. this pretty much sums up the love for it! |
