ok so ive doen some searches and cant get a definate answer. Are there different shades of black of the 6?. i have a phase 2.5 black 6. and im looking at getting a new bumper but not sure if i need a specific paint code

it will be on plate under the bonnet, or there may be a sticker on the N/S. Hows the car been?

cool, ill have a look when i get home Smile

she has been good, she doesnt get driven the now. So she is sitting pretty on the drive, oh i fitted her crystals however i need to come visit u as i need one of the bolts drilled out Sad and i cant get the bumper off haha. I hope the front bumper i bought is the same black

yeah i found this one, but other searches brought up poxy etc. and the other members were saying they were all the same haha. Ill check mine out now. Thanks guys

Hmm just had a look and there is no plate under bonnet and the only sticker tells u the tyres etc

You could always phone Peugeot, with your reg, and they'll tell you, if you need to know.

I can't remember where the codes are on 6s, but try inside the door edges, sills (inside) or even boot.

left hand strut top rear edge, in the scuttle area, or on early cars on the strut top itself.

failing that just chisel a bit of the paint off and take it to your nearest dealer, they will be able to tell you

My sticker is just behind the n/s strut top. But it says MODX which is no use to you as its blaze :/

my sprayer showed me his paint code book.there is 3 codes for that year.as i said above.
as also said above there is a white sticker,right hand side of engine bay near the back,by suspension topSmile Thumbs up
If its any help im sure my '98 s reg 6 has bexyThumbs up

Yeah I've checked every where and can't find any sticker. Ill give pug a call only want to know as I wanted to buy a new rear bumper.

Mine is phase 2 black and code is POXY. You can't miss the sticker on the left strut top. Anyone who looks at my engine bay makes a comment about POXY being right for a French motor.... Lol
