Race cars on track tend to be 13, 14 or 15 sizes and these sport tires are mostly geared for track use, it must cost a lot to keep the same size and style in production i guess.

I say that because smaller wheels make the time on track quicker etc, the ones i see are smaller but with new cars set up for big wheels is why they buy more due to so many more cars with big wheels.

I've seen a lot of MX5's on 16's, people love those for track days/fast road (I can see why, they are awesome to drive)

I think it's because it isn't a dedicated track tyre there is the issue, the people that run 13/14/15's specifically for the track, buy track specific tyres and have other wheels for road driving. Or they just came on here, saw how much we loved them and decided to shatter our dreams!

Please let us all know how you get on with them, Eliot.

My PE2s have a fair bit of tread left and I'm running on winter tyres atm so I might not need new summer tyres until next year. I count myself lucky, but what a shame Michelin have stopped doing them :-(

Hope the Yoko is a good substitute. £90 a tyre is a little less than the PE2 was iirc.

(PS - I have some 16" wheels I am not using if you are on the lookout!)

Has anyone tried the Yoko Advan Neova AD08 in 195/55R15? (In the summer on the road!)

i am planning Yoko Advan Neova AD08 on my Cyclones for the summer

still undecided what ill fit onto my 16" speedlines, replacing F1 GSD3's as they seem to have been phased out

was planning a set of summer tyres and a set that arent too bad in wet

A quick pop in to Costco suggests that PE2s are NLA in 195 55 15. They do BF Goodrich at £65 a corner and Michelin Energy saver at ~£100 a corner
