It's got nothing to do with the size, it's the fitment they were originally ordered in. If they weren't made for a 306, they'll need spigots and possibly spacers.________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

Hoping the ones I'm interested in should be ok as they are direct fit! ________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

Spigots are not really a problem, it's the ford offset ones that require spacers I would stay away from The plastic ones only melt on track cars that are given a big hammering, no chance of melting them on a fast road car ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

Looks like the ones I'm interested in do need spigots, not spacers. Not ideal, but shouldn't be a massive problem? This is for the track car though.________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

Yeah, if you're using them for track you'll need ally ones, not plastic. Not only that, but it does make it all a bit more fiddly if you're changing wheels about a lot, I'd seriously considering getting some in the correct fitment.________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

I will do in the long run, but they'll be better than the spacers I'm currently having to use on the Dotz!________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

owain wrote: I'd seriously considering getting some in the correct fitment. I don't honestly think they are worth the extra price for direct fit to hub centre bore Aprox £200 more a set of 4 for correct centre bore. Correct offset and alloy spigots if your using on a track car, plastic spigots are fine for fast road use welshpug! wrote: should sit on the bumpstops without catching if you got the right ones and the beam is good. Depends on the tyre sidewall style if your running 205/45's I had Dunlop SP2000's on mine which did not catch, but now on Dunlop SP Sport Maxx they will catch slightly as above. Just cause tyres are the same size does not mean they are physically identical in size ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

My 7x16's ET15 were £400 brand spanking off E-Bay Hence why I say I personally would not pay £200 more for the correct hub bore ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |
