IIRC it's about 550 kilos with the ancillaries, so price it up at 520 kilos

    Peugeot 306 GTi-6 1996 model (Phase 1) kerb weight is: 1214kg...

So add the "full fat" as you call it bits and pieces for a Phase 3 and you're looking around the 1250kg mark...Roll eyes

Dont forget a phase 1 is lightest car peugeot with a xu10j4rs though, And if a Rallyes is 50 odd kg lighter then the gap has to be bigger than that.

The point I was making is that the figure I gave in the first place was around the correct ballpark despite it being knocked as being ridiculous...

    Fair point Smile
For future reference a rallye is 1163kg as said here : http://www.carfolio.com/specifications/models/car/?car=74745
    Which puts a Phase 3 6 in at 1214kg

The issue is that no where lists the weight differences by year, They all have the same value (I.e phase 3 one)
In reality a phase 2 is about 10 kg less than a phase 3 and a phase ones probably 50 less than a phase 2.

Well if a Phase 1 '6' weighs 1214kg, a Phase 3 will be more than that. Yes

I think the info you've found only gives the weight for the first model 1996 version and then the other models after that aren't listed although they will weigh more.

That block should be about 120 kg, I weighed one before albeit in seperate parts and that's roughly what they add up to.

    I thought car weight wise a ph1 is ~1140, a rallye ~1170 and a 'full fat' ~1220,

    No no no.
    A Phase 3 is 1215kg
All the data for weights is for phase three
EXCEPT if you search for a Rallye,
Where you see they are 1163kg
If a Phase 1 is lighter than a rallyee, Then it is Obviously less than 1163kg.
We know that the Rallye is 53kg lighter than a 6.
Which convieniently is what the web says a 1996 306 weighs
    See what i'm saying here???

    In conclusion

    Phase one <1163
    Phase two circa 1200 dead
    Rallyee1163
    Phase 3 1215

    I should be a detective

Ryan is also on the money.
