A Lynx charger? If it is cheap, supercharger every time. A turbo conversion is a much more involved process ________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |

I'm biased, but I reckon an SC every time. Turbo conversions are fine, but you end up with a torque spike and they are much more complex as Craig says. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

True dat...The problem with going down the turbo route is that not many people have successfully done it, which means a lot of parts will need to be bespoke or obtained from specialist sources which it may be hard to do. Not to mention the labour time that will be involved to make it happen. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Welshpug is right, the Rotrex charger doesn't give the classic SC "whine" although it does give a nice whistle, similar to a turbo. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Do it. Especially if it's cheap. The only slight issue is that the manifold may be a bit short. Should work fine though. I loved my lowboost. ________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |

Just make sure you get the whole package off the donor car and don't leave anything behind which is part of the kit. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |
