Although the crash was mainly thanks to wet grass, or thats my excuse anyway... Id just like to add that young lady marshall sounded quite pleasant at the end |

Progress has been slow, was promised the engine back before christmas but nothing, so started panelling it up. New perspex windows in little things like carbon where the airjack socket once was fibre glass bonnet or carbon bonnet? got it cheap from a customer but unsure if I like it? sadly the carbon bonnet turned out to be 1kg heavier than the fibreglass one, so took a grinder the under side and took some of the thick internal bracing off it, the onter skin is still very thick but managed to get it 1.1kgs lighter than the fibreglass one yet is still stronger so hopefully wont flex like the fibreglass one did? ________________________________________ Carl Chambersemail; pugnacious.peugeot@yahoo.co.uk . the rad is a one off special, nice big and fat.using bonnet pins for sure. Im not sure about the carbon bonnet as I too like it all one colour but may put the stickers on and paint it then pull the stickers off to let the carbon show through. ________________________________________ Carl Chambersemail; pugnacious.peugeot@yahoo.co.uk . I think all one colour looks better for this no point painting a carbon bonnet. Leave it carbon for future or somone else if they want it. Like me maybe. Any news on the stickers or still being messed about? ________________________________________ Team SUPERCHARGEDI LIVE FOR THE 306 Old Project thread Clicky: click here remove the space between [url = |

306 Rxs wrote: I did notice both...the turn in and the recovery. Are you using standard arb and torsion bar. Even in a total standard 306, only using a zx rear axle, the rear end steps out really fast, comparing to one with 306 axle. Nice vid...it was shame that it ended that way! I must have xz arms on mine as I had it rebuilt and since have found the rear end to be very lively, seems like a ggod thing for on track or on tight slow bends but on the road it feels way too lively for me to dare push it in the twisties, lift of the power mid bend and your looking throughthe side windows as tho there tge windscreen. a proper 4 wheel alignment check revealed 0 toe at the rear on mine. so what you say makes total sense to me now. ________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

I decided to play with the carbon bonnet so rubbed it all down and stuck some stickers on itthen painted the yellow, pealed the stickers off, then lacquered then whole thing and this is what you get will stick the Demon tweeks, the number and the lion on later and you will see the full result ________________________________________ Carl Chambersemail; pugnacious.peugeot@yahoo.co.uk .
