I measured an XU7 crank, 24mm, XUD11, 26mm.

The XUD has an 88mm stroke. Yes

hmmm, ok. but the s/c cars suck through the throttle body as opposed to a turbo setup that blows through it

would be great if i could retain stock ecu obv along with new injectors and map

Just to add to this, Wayne has mapped a turbocharged Saxo using the standard ECU.

nope, stan's wrong, those pair are neither, they are 73 and 92mm.

basically im screwed then, unless i can come across a T16 crank

or do i fit the T16 pistons to a set of RGY/RGX rods?

I think you could potentially use the standard ECU in one of two ways if my understanding is correct. First would be to disable the map sensor and entirely base your map on the tps or alternatively you could possibly use a map sensor which has the same electrical properties but over a range of pressures that includes positive and negative pressures... although I might also be talking crap.

see what your saying, but surely with a turbo you'd want to measure load via a map sensor
