Ok ive given it some thought and im liking Ash's idea for a raffle so here goes. Its a simple idea, need 49 people to buy in, you will be given a number, theres no limit to how many you have if you want to increase your chances, and the lottery bonus ball will decide a winner. Im setting the price per number at £80 as i think thats a fair price for you guys and also gives me a return that id like. So for a mere £80 you could have a 1/49 chance of winning a supercharged 6.

For now i just require names of people who would be interested, please dont send me money yet (unless you really want to LOL

) then once i have enough names i will ask for payment and set a date.

Good luck trying to get £80 of 49 people! i like the idea but cant see that many people taking a chance.

I think you would have more chance if you advertised it on other Peugeot forums, eBay, pistonheads etc
If it was £50 I would probably do it, like ash said its less than a night out that's for sure !

must have a better way of doing the draw so you can sell more tickets at a smaller price I'd say more people would do it if tickets were £10-20 (yeah i know you'd have to sell alot more)

Yeah but if you win you could easily make a couple thousand on it, or use it. What other cars can you get for £80? Yes its a chance but if you win you'll definitely be quids in. Ive spent around £10k on this and you could pick it up for £80. I dont see why anyone wouldnt want to take the chance

Because some people don't have £80 to spend on a chance...

£80 is a lot of money to some people, and yes they would be quids in *if* they actually won it, but at odds of 49/1 it doesn't look promising really. Wink

I see your point simon but how could i do it fairly so everyone is happy?

Unless its done over 2 draws, double the tickets at half the price then the winner of each draw goes into a final one where one person has low and the other has high?

Cos there would be 48 people £80 out of pocket and in todays economy £80 is noticeable in most households where as £10-20 is easier to live with not having there if you get what i mean, i can see what your saying THE winner will be quids in but im sure more would gamble if there was less to lose

I know my personal situation im moving house soon so every penny is needed i couldn't give £80 but could live with losing £20 say and im sure more would be in the same position

£80 is still £80 for a chance to walk away with nothing!
Finding 49 people with a spare £80 to waste on coke is very unlikely I know the super charged thing is addictive but let's face it its not the white stuff

So 343 on a Wed evening draw then comes 7 people each having 7 separate numbers for the Sat draw

Also not saying that you would, but you could "buy" yourself a ticket, fix it so you win, then pretend a mate has won. Then when everyones forgot secretly sell it.

^ exactly how I made hundreds when in school as a young entrepreneur aka fraudster! sold tickets for a raffle which was rigged so me and a mate won. spent the whole takings in the Joke Shop buying s**t In A Can and random things. what a nob LOL

If you could prove it was legit I'd spend £80 on a ticket, I've spent a s**t load more on a s**t load less so odds of 49/1 sound pretty good to me. In fact, I might buy two!

Ok then lets work on the basis of with 49 people it would be £80, as the numbers increase the price will drop, so 343 people is just £15. So come on guys more names gives a cheaper price, whos interested?
