The retaining clip goes over the rubber bung on the window mechanism. The grey clip attaches to the glass and makes it go up and down straight. ________________________________________ |

plastic goes on the trailing edge of the window, but used ones never stay on so buy a new one.metal clip goes on the knobble that pokes through the glass on the lifting mech. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Wind the window down and look for the metal clip at the bottom of the window on the end of a rubber grommet. If it's not there - then I'd say it was that one that had fallen off.________________________________________ |

If you replace the parts correctly I can't see how it would take 5 attempts. Are you using new parts? ________________________________________ |

It should go from inside to outside so when it comes to popping the clip in you do it blind as you can't see a f**king thing lol |
