Very nice car and very fasy Devil got a 4paddle clutch what will take a little getting use to but other than that its canny.

Speedo doesnt work. Am i right in thinking the speedo runs off the cable through the bulk head onto the top of the box?

might need wiring up to the ECU like my old s16 engine did when i put an 8v xsi box on it

Sounds like you're talking about the gearbox reverse selector cable to me from memory.

The speedo is a loom plug connected to the VSS on the long driveshaft side of the diff. May be down to your loom being fudged in this area, the plug not being seated or maybe a dead speedo sensor.

Or the fact its a 8v turbo which might not be compatable with the 306 loom/speedo?Dunno

I had that in my xs, the speedo worked sometimes and didn't other times, no continuity in it at all, changed vss but nothing, always did wonder what would have fixed it :-/

So you either haven't bought it, you have bought it and are selling it already or the owner is pulling a fast one to steal your deposit?

(I absolutely despise it when folk put "not {insert car name/trim level that you were probably looking for, and look here what's popped up instead}" in the title of an eBay sale, although I fully appreciate you can reach far more people and increase the chance of a sale)
