S/c is the best bang per buck. I wouldn't cam it or anything as the charger just uses normal ones. Just save your pennies. ________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

Lb will suit normal everyday driving more but then im sure some of the high boosters like stan will say that hb is fine for everyday driving. By the souds of things hb is a massive step from lb ________________________________________ cherry p1.....SOLD (regreting this)blaze p2.....why did i buy this SOLD Black p3 |

how deep are your pockets is the answer depending upon this will depend how fast you can go but fettle the rest of the car if ya waiting for a while to do significant engine mods.________________________________________ |

low boost is like having a 306 with the power to match the latest hatchesa high boost is a 306 that has the same 0-100 as a 911 turbo So completely different beasts. And obviously theres more cost associated with having a high boost both engine internals wise and in terms of making the chassis capable of that power You need a bigger intercooler than lowboost, more fuel pressure, a different set of injectors and a swirl pot iircc As well as this the engine is rebuild with lower compression a different head gasket and forged pistons and rods. ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

The other thing is realistically both require roller bearing wishbone bushes, and bigger brakes, which also means new wheels. It all adds up. ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

im prepared to put 3-3.5k into it after xmas like a think in the meantime ill do pther things i.e brakes n that but low boost would be fine and still quick enough for me although people keep saying boosts better than a s/c n vice versa im baffled at the moment as to what to do im leaning towards a s/c atm ________________________________________ 97 1.6 xs gti6 conversion scrapped99 black rallye ( low miles and immaculate ) sold new owner of a 2001 diablo red hdi mile muncher swapped 99 red rallye turbo sold then died 00 moonstone 1.9d (slow) |
