I've been on the search but nothing really helped me out...

So as some may know I've just done the clutch on the 6, now though after around 2 weeks with battery off the blowers aren't working. Fuses have power and the motor has a good earth and power on the red wire. The blue/red doesn't have power, and even if I bridge it with the red the motor doesn't spin. Does this only mean that the motor is bust?

Try putting 12v direct to the motor and see if it spins up, at least you can eliminate it this way. Yes

Doh

Reading fail...yes it is mate. I guess the motor has had it then. Take it out and see if you can power it and flick it by hand to see if it will start to spin. It could be stuck brushes, would be a shame to fork out for a new one if it just needed a helpful hand. Thumbs up

If you find you need a motor when you've had a look, give me a shout. I have one here.

I unscrewed the motor, spun it by hand and it started working! Screwed it back up but it now makes a racket like its catching on something!

Took it apart and it's like the motor clicks at a certain point in its spin, hardly audible, until its spinning round rapidly!

It probably was stuck/worn brushes then. Yes

It could always be a dry bearing. I can't remember off the top of my head, can you easily get at the bearings to maybe drop a small drop of oil on them?
