Will they reduce insurance for males?

Nope, they will increase women's.

Why should woman's insurance been lower than males? I've certainly seen my fair share of crap drivers in both genders. I think both should be equal. Still don't agree with the insurance prices for new drivers they are certainly eye watering :/

    Yes

I still love the fact I have 'handbag theft' included in my Sheila's wheels policy. Big grin

    Seriously?

Have you seen how teenage/early twenties males drive?

Women make less claims than men, period. Subsequently, they're a lower risk.
I don't care that somebody once saw a female in the wrong lane for her exit on a roundabout in 1992 and still cries about it.

Professional footballers are a higher risk than an admin clerk at a bank. Prices differ accordingly.

    No different for male/female risk.

What i cant understand is the whole main driver/named driver thing. I can insure the golf cheaper in my name with Gareth as a named driver on the policy (we dont do it this way though), what difference does it make?! We could share a car and it'd probably work out 50/50 on the driving but we work in different directions and at different times so its just not practical.

I saved 150 notes, having my mrs as a named driver. Crazy, because there's no way she's driving it.
