anyone know what difference it makes to port and polis an inlet mani ? n anyone know how to go about it is it basicly 20mins with a dremmell ?

You can have a go with a Dremmel if you want!LOL

But people that know what they are doing would spend a few good hours on itThumbs up

You can smooth out casting marks etc,but in reality it would make little difference,you really need someone that knows what they are doing working on it to see any real gainsYes

Russian guy is the guy to talk to. He has done this and plenty more mods to his rallye and it goes like stink!!

You can't port it without cutting it open, if you don't fancy that forget it. If you do cut it open I'll happily weld it closed for you.

To properly port and polish an inlet manifold you will need to cut it open and weld it shut again once you're done. Good luck doing all of that in 20 minutes a Dremel.

On a standard engine you will lose power and torque. There's potential for increasing top end power but only with cams and an ECU remap to suit.
