You can have a go with a Dremmel if you want! But people that know what they are doing would spend a few good hours on it You can smooth out casting marks etc,but in reality it would make little difference,you really need someone that knows what they are doing working on it to see any real gains ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

You can't port it without cutting it open, if you don't fancy that forget it. To properly port and polish an inlet manifold you will need to cut it open and weld it shut again once you're done. Good luck doing all of that in 20 minutes a Dremel. On a standard engine you will lose power and torque. There's potential for increasing top end power but only with cams and an ECU remap to suit. ________________________________________ Rich |
