Got a few problems after refitting my flocked dash, basically should of really taken note of the wiring more but hey Ho. Currently its all in, car starts but I don't have instrument cluster lights, brake lights or headlights. I also have some random bar thing that I can't figure out where it goes. It's a wire with a bar about an inch and a half long on it. Help please lol.

That sounds like the temperature probe for the heater box.

Sounds like the brake light switch hasnt been plugged in and the orange plug hasnt been plugged into the dash dimmer or blanking plate if you dont have a dimmer to the right of the steering wheel.
the bar thing, does it have a white end to it where it meets the cable? if so, thats a temperature probe that goes into a hole in the heater box in the drivers footwell.

    sorted a couple of them

firstly headlights didnt work because i changed them the other day and forgot to plug them in Whistle

dash lights didnt work because i sent the dimer panel off with dash to get flocked hadnt been plugged back in which i should of really checked lol

i think that metal thingy is the probe so easy enough to do.

now left with no brake lights and a list of plugs

orange one in drivers footwell with lots of wires to it
brown one on passengers side with a black and a red wire to it, quiet thick ones
one around the steering coloum, brown which takes two small pins
and on that is clipped onto the coloum on that plastic sleeve that is a brown 2 pin male end

not helpful without pics i know but phone gone flat and dosent do flash without it lol

ill get some up tomorrow if im still stuck
